A label is less important than a conversation
People use “micro-cheating” for behaviors such as hidden flirting, maintaining a dating profile, private sexual messaging, or presenting as single online. Not every awkward interaction is betrayal, and labels can become weapons.
Ask whether the behavior was concealed, whether it violated a clear agreement, and whether both people have equal information. Use the answer to discuss boundaries, not to prove that one person is inherently bad.
