What is actually free?
All 390 stories, in full, with read-aloud in your browser, plus categories, search, bookmarks, reading history, the interactive demo, and every crisis resource. No account is needed to read or listen, and there is no meter.
How does the free trial work?
You get three days or three companion sessions, whichever comes first, with no card. The clock starts when you create your plan rather than when you sign up. Time capsules, custom activities and full history are Pro-only and are not part of the trial.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing you wrote is deleted when it ends.
What about refunds?
If you subscribed on the web, email us within your first billing period and we will refund it. If you subscribed inside the iOS or Android app, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, because we never receive the payment.
Is this therapy?
No. We are not licensed clinicians and the companion is not a therapist. It is structured support and daily practice, and it is built to stop and point you to professional help when what you describe is heavier than an app should carry. Read the full AI and health disclaimer.
What happens to what I write?
Burn-letter text never leaves your browser. Sealed letters and unsent drafts stay sealed. Nothing you write is used to train a model, and you can export or permanently erase everything from your account at any time.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The site installs as an app, and there are native apps too. A subscription bought on the web works in the apps and the other way round — sign in with the same account and restore purchases if it does not appear immediately.
What languages is it in?
The app is available in 20 languages. The stories are written in English; Pro includes AI translation of any story into ten languages (beta): Español, हिन्दी, Português, Français, Deutsch, العربية, Bahasa Indonesia, Русский, 日本語, বাংলা.
