I never thought I'd be betrayed by a smart speaker. But there I was, staring at my phone, the Alexa app open, my hand trembling as I pressed play on a voice log from Tuesday at 3:00 PM.
It started innocently enough. Greg had been complaining that our Alexa kept playing the wrong playlist—'80s power ballads instead of his usual jazz.
